Welcome to Rocket Car Rentals. These terms and conditions outline the rules and regulations for the use of Rocket Car Rentals' Website and Services.
Renters must be at least 21 years old. A valid original driving license held for at least 1 year is required.
IMPORTANT: Under Vietnamese Law, international drivers MUST present a valid International Driving Permit (IDP) issued under the 1968 Vienna Convention in conjunction with their national license. IDPs issued under the 1949 Geneva Convention (e.g., USA, Australia, China) are NOT valid for driving in Vietnam. For US/Australian citizens, converting your home license to a Vietnamese license or renting with a driver is required to drive legally.
For bookings of 10 days or more, mileage is unlimited. We encourage you to explore freely! Ideally, shorter trips may have mileage limits as specified in your rental agreement, but we aim to be flexible.
We deliver your Electric Vehicle with 100% charge so you can start your journey worry-free. Please return the vehicle with a reasonable charge level (above 20%) to avoid additional fees, or simply pay a recharge fee for convenience.
A valid credit card in the main driver's name is required for booking. We accept Visa, Mastercard, and Amex.
A security deposit of 15,000,000 VND - 50,000,000 VND (depending on vehicle class) will be blocked on your credit card at pickup. This amount is released within 30 days after return if no costs are incurred.
Vehicles must not be used for illegal purposes, racing, or towing. Smoking is strictly prohibited (Cleaning fee: 2,000,000 VND). Vehicles are provided with a full tank and must be returned full.
Standard rates include basic mechanical support. Renters are liable for damages up to the vehicle value unless Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) is purchased. CDW reduces liability to a fixed excess amount (e.g., 10,000,000 VND).
The Renter is fully responsible for all traffic fines incurred during the rental period. If a 'Cold Fine' (camera violation) is received after return, the Company will charge the fine amount plus an administrative fee to the Renter's card.
Neither party shall be liable for failure to perform obligations due to events beyond reasonable control (e.g., natural disasters, war).
